We have a lot of blogging to catch up on. Casa de TaWanda has been busy fluffing several homes, purchasing office furniture for 2 lobby's in office buildings and gearing up for our Christmas season. We are posting a few photos of a living room and bedroom we recently fluffed. Enjoy!
Bedroom originally had light green walls, bedding was dark velvet chocolate brown and white. The side tables were victorian antiques. We suggested to the client to repaint the walls a color we love to use from Restoration Hardware. We updated all the bedding to a linen and white combination. The side chair was recovered to a linen color and 2 new side chests of light pine found at RoundTop replaced the darker wood. Small slatted shutters covered every window and we suggested the client remove them and open up the room. Panels are currently being made and will complete the room.
The room is now a very soothing, spa like feel...yummy!
The living room had windows covered with shutters. The room now feels open and bright!
The 2 light chairs were recovered to a linen material from a light blue velvet. The base of the coffee table was painted red and we suggested the client have it painted a lightly distressed wood look. all of the colorful pillows were taken off the sofas and new, lighter ones will soon replace them. The one red patterned chair was just taken away this week to be recovered in linen. The light rug has replaced a dark red oriental rug and Monday the carpeted floors will be replaced with wood. Can't wait to finish this beautiful room!
